Coming from a background in portrait photography, we found ourselves getting left a little disappointed with our own daughter’s school photos. This sparked a dinner table conversation around a bowl of spaghetti that posed the question: “Why can’t this be done better?” Fast forward several years, and here we are with fresh ideas and answers! So, how can high-volume events be done better? Well, we’ve found that staying small brings immense value. Our size isn’t a limitation, it’s our strength. By staying small, we don’t have to throw money or resources at problems; instead, we solve them through smart, creative solutions.
While our competitors are continually trying to scale up, we’re striping things down. We don’t try to keep up with the industry; we can’t, so we set a new standard by doing things differently. Staying small forces us to be innovative, which means that when you work with us, you’re getting a service that operates at a level far beyond what larger companies can offer. Profits don’t come from growth; they come from refining our business. This means we don’t need more clients, instead, we can shift our focus to continually improving the service we provide to the clients we already have.

Our youngest daughter spent months in intensive care after she was born. During that time, we saw firsthand the impact of community support and the tireless work of local health services. That experience shaped not only our perspective on life but also the way we run our business. That’s why we’ve partnered with “Our Kids,” a local charity that raises funds for vital pediatric equipment at Lismore Base Hospital. Now, through our business, we have the opportunity to support those same services for other families. A portion of every photo package sold goes directly to funding this cause. We’re proud to play a small role in helping improve the lives of our local kids and their families. It’s our way of giving back and staying connected to the people who make our community what it is.

We want to continue refining and perfecting what we do, ensuring that every client receives the best possible service and quality. We’re not here to dominate the market or follow blind growth. Instead, we’ve made the intentional choice to never take on more than 50 clients at a time.
